How nice it is to sit and look at the sea. This is Monterey Bay in California. Isn't the water clear? You could jump right in and swim with the sea otters. I consider this one of my finest paintngs. It's difficult to get water to look wet and here it's captured beautifully.

HELP

This youngster thinks he's immortal. He surfs in the cold water off the California coast. Once in a while he takes an unscheduled dismount when the rocks don't get out of his way.

ROCKS

This is the shallow area where the surf isn't as rough as it is near the huge rocks at Big Sur.
