Collaged Encaustic Monoprint Mounted on suede board which has been inlaid with real dried and treated leaves. $2500. 21" x 41"
It has some gold leaf and a variety of different leaves embedded into the piece. Imported papers from the orient are painted with a combination of pure beeswax, 100% pigment and varnish. Then they are torn and a design is created. This is mounted on a shikishi board that I monoprinted first. After the papers are dried I've added dried plant life and for a finishing touch I add a touch of goldleaf. This is one of my favorites. It seems to go in any decor.
